Cognitive apps like this on smart phones could be used to compile our own brain mapping profile, where a database could recommend apps and exercises to boost weak areas. The right exercise at right time can really boost brain function. I use drum rhythm apps to boost my brain.

I’ve written and created apps in this space since 1997. I earlier tried to get HP in this space. These apps can be integrated into alternative medicine & wellness, meditation, etc., and be made to pick up early signs of stroke, concussion (like IMPACT Test in NFL, hockey, NASCAR), dimentia, and hydrocephalus (shunt malf). I pioneered a dx app (DiaCeph Test) for hydrocephalus in 1997 for PDA, and am looking to see this and other health apps become widely available on smart phones. This knowledge is only a click away.

    Acebone:

We don’t currently have apps for other platforms than iPhone / iPod touch.

For Windows Mobile devices, you can try visiting lumosity.com using the Skyfire browser:

I’m a product of ’70’s era Atari games and believed back then that many of those simple games enhanced certain abilities–such as spatial recognition skills. So I was thrilled to learn about simple games that are addictive and fun can keep are brains in shape.

I bought the first iPhone game. It’s great! Please make more for the iPhone…I’ll buy the all!

I was excited to add this to my iphone – also dealing with TBI – but all that is on my phone is the speed match. How do I access the rest? (Please email – TBI causes me not to guarantee that I can return to this site to view comments. :( )

There are times when I score 100%. Yet, the next page shows that my score is only 13% of my peers. Is there a reading of how my scores compare from one time to another?

    Thank you, Nina Jordan

    Hi;

Love your games. I have a neurological disability. Doctors cannot seem to find the right diagnosis as yet. But these games have really helped me.
I tried to log in today and would not accept my user name or password.

What do I need to do?
    Many thanks! roswhi

    Hello Rosemarie,

Very glad to hear that our games are helping you.

Concerning your login and password problem, you should be able to take of that at the following link:

    Sorry John,
We do not currently have any plans for offering our games on Windows Mobile.

  19. Posted March 6, 2009 at 12:56 am | Permalink

    Rose,
We only offer our games individually for the iphone as it is quite a process to convert them.

  20. Posted March 6, 2009 at 1:08 am | Permalink

    Hello Nina,

There are not any records of how you compare to your peers,…only how you are doing compared to yourself.

To see a chart of your progress over time, hit the brain profile button and then the BPI you are interested.

Windows Mobile is a dead platform. You’re right to stick with the iPhone/iPod touch. Apple makes it so easy to create apps that even children are doing it.

This is a great exercise and perfect for the iDevice. I hope to see more Lumosity games reach the AppStore in the future. (Hoping to see a bundle perhaps.)
