The Science Behind Lumosity
Posted on February 4, 2010
Lumosity users and research collaborators often ask us for more information on the science that goes into the games and training applications on the site. To help make this info more accessible, we have just published The Science Behind Lumosity.
This document describes the background brain science, the principles upon which the brainĀ games and courses were designed, and some of the research done using Lumosity. The goal was to break down the science of Lumosity into terms that anyone can understand while creating a comprehensive and precise presentation of the research.
Check it out, and let us know what you think.

I believed even before having children that training could improve intelligence, because I experienced with students in my classroom. For our two children, we started as soon as our son was home from the hospital and prebirth with our daughter. He was co-valedictorian of his college class and hs valedictorian. She was salutatorian in college and valedictorian at hs.
I am thrilled to have found this site for our grandchildren have some advantages, but are not being worked with like their parents were. I plan on encouraging them to take part in your website. I’m very pleased to have discivered it. Do you have anyone in your organization studying the influence of nutrition on intelligence? It can also make a significant difference.
Best wishes to you with this enterprise.
