I found myself subconsciously trying to find patterns in the presentation of shapes while playing the game. There aren't any patterns, so if you find yourself doing this and are at risk of making an error, take a moment to clear your head.

I find that I am able to indicate matches faster than non-matches. To be more accurate, and to get the highest score, I give myself just a bit more time when indicating a non-match.

Focus on the shapes or symbols rather than your score or the amount of time left.

Try thinking or saying "yes" when the shape matches and "no" when it doesn't. This improved my score by 1000 points on average!
