Lumosity invites researchers to submit proposals for studies that use functional neuroimaging techniques to investigate mechanisms underlying cognitive processes implicated in Lumosity’s games and assessments. These studies would ideally involve both neuroimaging and behavioral methods with healthy adult populations. Examples of types of projects that would be prioritized include, but are not limited to, demonstrations of:

Researchers who wish to respond to this solicitation must first complete the Intent to Apply Form by September 27, 2013. Applicants will be notified by email whether they have been selected to submit a full proposal

Full proposals should be no more than 5 double-spaced pages, and should contain the following information:
Full proposals will be submitted online.
A single proposal will be awarded in an amount not to exceed $150,000 in total costs for a maximum period of 12 months beginning early 2014. A detailed budget and justification must be included with the full application.
Individuals from academic, medical, or research institutions based in the United States are eligible to apply. Institutions may be public or private, and must not be commercial.
Invited full applications will be reviewed by a panel of internal scientists with relevant expertise, and will be evaluated using the following criteria:
