Face-Name Recall
Face-name recall is a form of memory involving being able to pay attention to and remember the physical characteristics and name of another person.
Used for:
- Learning peoples’ names for the first time
- Remembering someone you’ve met before
Calling people by name builds rapport and research shows that very specific areas of the brain are engaged in the process of recognition.
