Does Bigger Brain Mean Smarter?
Brain size has almost no correlation with intelligence
It seems logical: bigger brain, more neurons, more intelligence, right? But the relationship between brain size and intelligence is surprisingly weak. Elephants and whales have far larger brains than humans, yet no one argues they're smarter. Within humans, overall brain volume accounts for a very small percentage of the variation in intelligence, and plenty of brilliant people have had average or below-average-sized brains.

Focus on building efficient neural connections rather than worrying about the size of your brain. Activities that challenge you to integrate information across domains, like learning a musical instrument, speaking multiple languages, or solving interdisciplinary problems, strengthen the wiring that actually drives cognitive performance.
