Problem SolvingWhat is Logical Reasoning?
Spotting patterns and figuring out the rules
Logical reasoning is your brain's ability to detect patterns, identify underlying rules, and apply them to new situations. It's what lets you figure out the pattern in a sequence, solve puzzles by elimination, and draw valid conclusions from the evidence in front of you. Even when the answer isn't obvious.
In real life...
When you're stuck on a problem, try working backward from the answer or using process of elimination. Instead of asking 'which option is right?' ask 'which options are definitely wrong?' Ruling out impossible answers narrows the field and often makes the correct solution obvious.
